Description
Clubfoot is a congenital (present at birth) condition in which your baby’s foot or feet turn inward. The clubfoot deformity has a tendency to return to its original position (relapse) even after correction. To prevent relapse, the clubfoot must be held in an overcorrected position with bracing. Denis Browne Splint, also known as Denis Browne Boot and Bar Brace or a Foot Abduction Orthosis, is used for maintaining the correction achieved by measures like manipulation, plaster casts, operations etc.
SALO Orthotics Denis Browne Splint has a high quality and lightweight aluminium bar. A unique ankle strap ensures the heel to fit inside shoes. The splints are provided with knobs to adjust the angle and distance between the splints as required. Adjustment of foot abduction can be done as per requirement of the patient.
